This magnificent granite monument was conceived by Canon Gervase Markham of Morland, who was Chairman of Eden Millennium Festival.

The location for this stone was chosen to be outside Mayburgh Henge but visible from the one remaining stone out of seven original stones that were erected within the Henge.

The monument, which depicts the cross and the Greek letters Alpha and Omega commemorates 2000 years of Christianity. - More...
