Easy Travel Instructions
By Rail
From Penrith Railway Station, take a taxi or bus (x4 or x5), alighting at Stainton Lane End.
By Car from M6 Motorway
Leave M6 at junction 40, taking A66 West toward Keswick. Pass the Little Chef restaurant and continue straight on at the Rheged Discovery Centre Roundabout.
Continue along the A66 for approx 1 mile to the Newbiggin/Stainton crossroad.
Turn left into Stainton village.
By Car from the Lakes
Follow the Kirkstone Pass route to Ullswater, then follow the Dalemain and Penrith signs along the A592. Turn left into Stainton at the sign for the Alpaca Centre.
Alternatively, follow the A591 to join the A66 at Keswick. Follow the A66 to the Newbiggin/Stainton crossroad.
